Sound Healing
Transformation Coaching
Sound healing is typically offered in one-to-one or small group settings, using instruments such as gongs and Tibetan singing bowls that create strong vibrations within the body. The intention of a sound healing session is primarily therapeutic - often working with specific frequencies to target physical, emotional, or spiritual imbalances.
A sound bath is usually group orientated, with the primary focus on rest and relaxation. Participants sit or lay and are bathed in the harmonious tones of various instruments. In a group setting, there is less focus on specific ailments. The intention is to create an immersive and deeply calming experience.
Almost everyone, including children and animals, can benefit from sound healing! However, certain individuals are advised to consult a doctor before attending a session if they have any of the following conditions:
• Sound-sensitive or balance issues, such as tinnitus or vertigo
• Pacemakers or electronic implants
• Heart conditions or are recovering from invasive surgeries, like open-heart surgery
• Epilepsy
• Pregnancy – pregnant women can safely receive sound healing if their condition is known and the techniques are adjusted, particularly during the first trimester.
Sound healing can also be highly beneficial for those suffering from migraines, unless sound is a known trigger. In such cases, it’s best to consult a doctor.
Please inform your sound healing practitioner of any health conditions so we can tailor the experience to ensure your safety and well-being.
For your sound bath, comfort is key, so bring items like a favorite pillow, an eye mask, or warm socks if you’d like, although I’ll provide a cozy atmosphere. Prepare by avoiding food for at least two hours before the session and wearing loose, comfy clothing. Afterward, drink plenty of water, rest, and take some time to reflect on your experience to fully integrate the healing effects.
